Art Director/Graphic Designer

My name is Roy, I am Filipino and Chinese and I am looking for a graphic artist to help with our business in Chicago! We help small business owners in the fitness industry (CrossFit, Yoga, Pilates, HIIT) and schools with awesome designs on t-shirts, sweatshirts, anything sportswear related). What am I looking for:

Art Director/Graphic Designer for Screen Printing Shop
-1 part-time designer (15-25 hours per week), hoping to build a long-term relationship and turn the position into full time.
-Must be a fan of Nike, Adidas, Puma, Under Armour, Supreme, or any sports apparel and street fashion brands.

Primary responsibility is for all art production. The artist must able to communicate with customers, sales rep, and production department to be able to provide a finished product that meets or exceeds the customer's expectations.

Artist needs to be proficient in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop ---------- munication is a key to helping create a finished product that exceeds our customer's expectation and then communicating those expectations to the production staff, all in a timely matter.

Artist must be well organized and be able to multi-take as there are always multiple projects going at the same time. They must also be time schedule ---------- this world of 'need it yesterday' mentality, time management is important.

Customer service experience is required.

Other responsibilities would include website maintenance and development, social media updates, and different advertising layouts and flyers (Will discuss further, most important is the art production)

Job Type: Part-time to potentially be full-time
Salary: $3-$7 based on experience

Experience:
• Illustrator: 1 year (Required)
• Photoshop: 1 year (Required)
• Screen Printing industry or have worked for other screen-printers: 1 year (Bonus)

Language:
• English

Hours per Week:
• 15-25 (will vary week to week)
• Time zone (Chicago, Central Standard Time)

Job Duties:
• Draft mockups of t-shirt designs, which include anything that we sell to our clients (T-shirts, hats, hoodies, shorts, leggings, and any additional garments not listed here). Marketing materials to be used on Instagram, FB, any social media.
• Collaborate with marketing teams and management to discuss which mockups are effective, and use their feedback to develop final drafts
• Revise the work of previous designers to create a unified aesthetic for our brand materials
• Work on multiple projects at once, and consistently meet draft deadlines
• Communicate frequently with clients to update them on the progress of the project and to answer any questions they might have
