Inventory Forecasting Software Web Developer

Monster Group (UK) Ltd is an online retailer based in York, UK. We are seeking a talented software developer to build us bespoke software to ensure that we always hold the optimal amount of inventory.

The key components of the software will -

- Utilise data from an SQL database.
- Use a combination of historic data, current trends and upcoming promotions to accurately forecast future inventory requirements.
- Take into account inventory requirements, lead times and product dimensions to create full container load orders to be sent to suppliers ensuring minimum and maximum cover is adhered to.
- Forecast inventory space requirements in our warehouses to help plan for capacity in advance.

The successful person will have:

- Proven experience of creating similar software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Keeping well documented, efficient code and ensuring a clear audit trail of communication.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision with an ability to plan and prioritise your own time, whilst working alongside a team to ensure all deadlines are met on time and to a high standard.
- Ability to manage own workload, strong commerciality and attention to detail.

This is a fantastic opportunity towork with a successful British ecommerce ---------- will be based from your home for the right candidate and the company will provide a PC set up. You will be required to remotely log in during office/working hours so that we can maintain virtual contact and communications (via video camera), so it will be like you are in the office with the Monster Team!

The candidate will need to provide ongoing support throughout the implentation period.
