JOB OVERVIEW

I need someone 4-10h/wk to help me budget the hours of my time each day the same way people budget dollars. You will use (a) my personal and professional project timelines in Asana, (b) my appointments in Google calendar, and (c) a daily routine I created in Excel.

I own an editing business employing several contractors, and my husband and I just bought a house and will have our first baby in 4-6 weeks. Some of my upcoming projects include: edit a book, update company website, furnish & unpack new home for baby shower, finish deferred taxes, and plant fall garden. You will not do any of these projects--you will make sure I do them.

Must be organized, punctual, assertive, observant, and able to pivot or propose solutions as needed. You will essentially be a scaffold for my brain and should be a natural in what I struggle in: executive function (prioritization and attention management). Much like I get odd joy in editing commas, this job of organizing someone else's time should sound fun to you.

Job Responsibilities (4-10h/wk total)
1. Weekly (1-4h/wk): Make updates to personal and professional project schedules in Asana.
2. Weekly (1h/wk): Import those updated Asana schedules to Google calendar.
3. Weekly (1-2h/wk): Use my Google calendar and Excel daily routine to generate a tentative daily schedule for each day of the coming week
4. Daily (0.5-1h/d): Assess my progress and finalize the schedule for the next day.
5. Work remotely and/or at my home office, logging hours in Gleeo or Toggle time tracking app.
6. Observe me and give direct, honest feedback. Assertively hold me accountable. Propose creative solutions.

I regularly decline projects worth $2-7k because I don't have the bandwidth to accept them. Presumably my income and yours will increase as you help me increase my efficiency.
