Overseas Data Analyst

Job brief

An Overseas Data Analyst will work closely with the Director for Business Development to conduct with technical expertise a full-cycle analysis of quality and accurate data and turn it into insights that can offer the company ways to improve its people, business, and decisions.

Responsibilities

1. Interpret data and analyze results using statistical techniques to be able to generate efficient reports.
2. Develop and implement databases, data collection systems, data analytics and other strategies that serve statistical efficiency and quality.
3. Acquire data from primary or secondary sources and maintain an organized database or data system.
4. Efficiently identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets.
5. Work with top management to be able to prioritize business and information needs.
6. Provide quality assurance of imported data, working with quality assurance analysts if necessary.
7. Create and define new processes for the improvement of business decisions and opportunities.

Requirements

1. A degree in Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management or Statistics.
2. Proven work experience as a data analyst or business data analyst.
3. Knowledge and experience in working on Google Analytics and other Analytic Softwares
4. Ability to analyze existing tools and databases to be able to provide software solutions or recommendations.
5. Demonstrated experience in handling large data sets and relational databases.
6. Comprehensive written and verbal communication skills.
7. Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
8. Adept and efficient in answering queries, creating reports and presenting findings.
9. Preferably residing within Metro Manila only.
