Operations Manager

Swoosh English is an online training provider helping foreign doctors and nurses pass their English exams so they can work in the UK. We provide classes and courses conducted by a team of fully qualified and experienced UK native English teachers and ex-examiners.


We are offering an immediate start to the right candidate. Applications close August 31st 2019.

Key areas of responsibility
• Create, manage, optimize and scale Facebook & YouTube ads
• Manage our team of teachers, staff and virtual assistants as well as implementing digital marketing campaigns for social media communications (Facebook, YouTube, Instagram & other social media accounts)
• Update and create new pages on the Word press website
• Work closely with the director, teachers and other team members at different locations
• Other duties as assigned.
• Eligibility
• Degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, Business or related disciplines desired
• Fluent in English
• Digital marketing experience is preferred
• Good understanding in website management and digital marketing, content development, social media, Many Chat, Facebook Ads, Google and Youtube Ads, analytics tools such as Google Analytics and user experience
• Good knowledge of SEO
• Exceptional leadership skills
• Great initiative and a strong ability to delegate tasks and projects
• Experience in setting up and/or running systems and processes
• Ability to implement ideas and manage the day to day running of a successful and well-regarded online language school
• Ability to provide exceptional customer service and have extensive experience with this
• Common sense is highly valued
• A self-starter and fast learner is essential
• Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, WordPress and Divi are desirable
• Copy writing & email marketing (Active Campaign) experience
• Good team player, willing to learn, open-minded, independent and responsible
• Common sense
• Great attitude
• Customer service experience
• Ability to work well under pressure with tight deadlines
• Knowledge of any other marketing tools is preferable
• Experience with learning management system is desirable

• Training sessions with outside experts to improve knowledge and skills required in the business will be provided
• Course (Thinkific learning course platform) training provided.
