We are seeking a passionate individual who will assist with overall web design and development activities

Minimum Requirements:
-8+ years direct experience with an overseas English speaking web design and development agency (Australia preferably but can also be UK/Canada/USA)
- Need to provide a list of minimum of 10 websites that you have personally designed & built, that accurately reflects your work skills.
- Must be working with us exclusively, as we are looking for someone to grow with us for the long term
- Must be an expert in all things Wordpress, including PHP skills, custom development & design, page builders and also Woocommerce development
- Must have a high degree of written and speaking English skills
- Although this is a full time role, all Igniters (team members) will be asked to work overtime in certain situation e.g. if there is a deadline or urgent task needed.
- We are looking for someone who is pro-active and highly confident of their skills and to possibly head up their own team in the future.

The Opportunity:
We have an exciting opportunity for a full-time Website Designer/Developer role within our team and you’ll be responsible for:
Working in collaboration with the sales & SEO teams.
Creating website designs
Development of a website from concept designs, built within WordPress
Receiving feedback from drafted website designs and providing recommendations for improvements
Meeting with key individuals to discuss requirements and progress of projects
Front end and back end technical issues on websites
Keeping up to date with recent design, technologies and software developments
Ability to meet and manage deadlines
Able to prioritise a dynamic workload

Key functions of the role:

Have the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
‘Think outside the box’ to create lead generation digital design
Maintain knowledge of the latest design and UX/UI trends
Regular maintenance and backup of websites
Fix or problem solve technical issues in relation to websites.
Systemisation to produce productive processes within the role
Skills and Experience
Experience with HTML, CSS and CMS systems such as Wordpress
Experience with Cpanel
Experience in PHP and Javascript
Understanding of SEO
Have at least 3 years experience in a similar role
Have a sound knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite Illustrator & Photoshop
Ability to meet tight deadlines
Strong and incomparable attention to detail
A conceptual thinker – able to clearly articulate creative thoughts
Well organised – able to manage traffic flow and workload priorities
Ideally, you will come from website development and design background with the ability to understand the business goals and marketing outcomes to be achieved for business owners. You will need to have knowledge and experience when it comes to the design, development and technical aspects (front end and back end) of websites and a proactive approach to troubleshooting.

Competent in website maintenance, back up's, hosting & domain transfers and management
Competent in Adobe Suite including Photoshop & Illustrator
