JOB OVERVIEW

Responsible for creating images and designs for posts and pinterest, layout design of workbooks, eguides, and pdf downloads. Layout of magazine, and infographics in the future.

Web redesign of current site will be needed using Wordpress - ideally with Thesis Theme.

Editing for video and podcast audios. Adding intro and outro, balancing volume and clear delivery of audios.

Topics of business are natural wellness, nutrition, and self-development.

I don’t micromanage and would appreciate you feeling comfortable working on your own and with initiative while sticking to deadlines.

You have an understanding of the importance of a natural lifestyle and strong mentality.

The audience is primarily women between the ages of 25 - 44. These women, mainly latin, are health conscious who are looking to improve their lifestyle by using more natural alternatives and a more positive way of thinking - so that it best supports their goals and, if applicable, that of their young family.

Qualifications:
Experience with Wordpress - understanding of Thesis Theme
Competent with Adobe CS: indesign, photoshop, and illustrator
Skilled with Garageband and iMovie
Great communication skills in English
Experience with Google Docs
Attention to detail
1-2 years experience in a similar role
Embraces natural, holistic living - if you live it, you know it!
Design knowledge and an eye for design
Editing audio and video experience


Responsibilities:
Redesign Wordpress site
Design shareable images for podcast and blog posts
Layout magazine articles, workbooks, and eguides
Edit audio files and video
Create designs for product launches and other projects
Daily check-in before work to see where we’re at on projects + end-of-day email recap of status
Wordpress maintenance
Other tasks as requested
Available for work Monday - Friday between 8am - 1pm (your time zone) - you must start at 8am. The reason for this is so I can be available to you during these 5 hours for any questions and clarifications.

Pay:
Pay schedule would be weekly to start (first 3 months) - I hope we work well together so then we can discuss how you prefer to be paid, weekly or monthly, and increase in pay rate.
Hours are 25 hours per week - Monday to Friday between 8am to 5pm (your time zone).
