T Shirt Graphic Designer

Schedule/Assignment: Every Saturday at midnight central US time we will send an assignment for the upcoming week of 40 different t-shirt sayings. By the following Thursday at midnight central US time the designs will be due (again these don't need to be mocked up on t-shirts or anything just the PNG or JPG files so they can be looked at for review and you can just email them). We will get any needed edits and feedback to you by the following day (Friday) by noon central US time. The final assignment will need to be 100% complete and uploaded by the following day (Sunday) by 11 PM central US time).

Feel free to get your designs over to us earlier and we can get feedback to you earlier in the week if you wish.

For example: You receive your assignment Saturday, Oct. 13th. You submit your rough drafts by midnight on Oct. 18th. We will send you any feedback if necessary. You make any requested changes and have designs finalized by midnight on Oct. 21st.

Overall sizing:

15x18 inches, 4500x5400 pixels PNG with transparent background *this is very important, if the sizing is wrong we will have to have you go back and fix it.

Do I have to use sRGB color space for my designs?

No. By default we assume your design is sRGB. So if you want to use another colors space (e.g. CYMK), please make sure you embed the color space into your PNG. Please note, you can not use indexed color space.

How to ensure your product design will look great

300 DPI resolution: Your final design needs to be 300 DPI, not a lower resolution image resized to 300 DPI. Resizing will result in a pixelated, blocky print.
Less than 25MB files Artwork sizing and placement While you can certainly use the entire 15" x18" in space, a print that is 18 inches to be overwhelming. By and large we find that keeping your maximum dimension to 12 inches or less typically works better Designs typically do the best when they are placed near the top of the print area. *Please make sure all your designs are at the very top of the print area or we will have to have you go back and fix them

Colors:

For each design we'd like one all white version, one all black version and one version with added color (so 3 versions of the same design, the only thing changing is the color! This does not count as 3 separate designs)

Please complete a design for each of the following titles and images
1. "If it flies, It dies" Image of duck flying through the air with a red target over it in a duck hunting themed design for men
2. "Birthday Girl" Image of a mermaid for kids/girls
3. "Best Mom Ever" Floral Design for women
4. "Chaos Coordinator" Feminine Design with cute Arrows and school teacher themed design
5. "Football Dad" Football themed design for men/fathers

To help you feel more secure about your designs you may include a watermark over the top to protect your work.
