Online English Teacher (Home-based)

We are looking for teachers who are interested to be a part of our team of tutors. You will be teaching English to Japanese, and/or Taiwanese students of different age groups. A majority of our students are working professionals.
- You will have the freedom to choose your own schedules
- For those who are interested to start a career in ESL, UNHOOP Tutors are also eligible to attend a TESOL certificate program with our partner school at a discount.
- Minimum 3 hours between 5:00AM-2:00PM or any schedule including 11:00PM-12:00AM

Qualifications:
- Be at least 18 years old and above
- Have good command of the English language or be able to communicate in English
- Know how to use Skype
- Be willing to be trained

Requirements:
- Stable internet connection (Upload speed of .5Mbps and download speed of 1Mbps. We cannot accept pocket wifi or mobile tethering)
- Your own desktop/laptop (You may use Mac but you must invest in your own Skype call recorder)
- Headset with a built-in microphone
- Quiet and private room

Salary:
All of our tutors start at a standard rate of P55 per 25 minute class but you could get a higher starting rate if you can speak Japanese. MBA holders can get special rates for MBA classes.

The rate can also go up every 3 months depending on your performance. Our rates are based on how well you do in your classes and not how much experience you've had before you start working with Unhoop.

Training Schedule and Details:
You can choose which schedule will be more convenient for you:
• Weekdays: Monday - Friday from 2PM to 9PM for 7-10 days depending on your performance
• Weekends: Saturday - Sunday from 2PM to 9PM for 7-10 days depending on your performance

You can choose the arrangement that could be more convenient for you:
- Online Training - for those who are residing outside of Manila or far from Makati City
- Office-based Training - for those who prefer to work at our office, or those who don't live far from Makati City (Those who attend the office-based training get transportation allowance of PHP100)
