Tech Support /w Free Training (DAVAO ONLY)

Hi,

we are a financial service & logistics company from South Adelaide, Australia.

We are looking for a hardworking individual to help in our IT department FULLTIME from 9am to 5pm Adelaide time (7:30am to 3:30pm Philippine time).

This is a long-term position and we hope to find someone we can actively train to take on new, exciting responsibilities.

Newbies accepted as long as you have at least some experience in tech support or IT!

Your core responsibilities:

* Troubleshooting problems with our mobile app, website and backend interface with our customers, contractors and other employees via phone and email.
* Creating and maintaining manuals and troubleshooting documents for our applications.
* Making IT related calls on behalf of the IT department.
* Creating and maintaining our various websites.
* Coordinating between departments in regard to IT, website and mobile app issues.
* Basic website programming (if you have experience in that regard).
* Maintaining our phone system, network infrastructure, servers and databases.
* Bug hunting, in-depth testing, documentation of problems and searching for likely causes.

Over the course of your employment you will be trained in the use of our IT infrastructure and the tools needed to maintain and expand such. This includes:

* Training in Node, in-memory databases and a chance to work with cutting edge web technologies.
* A chance to actively contribute to, review and organise our organisations code base.
* UNIX server management.

Requirements:

* Previous experience in an out- or inbound voice support role, preferably tech support or customer service.
* Although this is a remote job, you must be from DAVAO and available for face to face interview and training.
* Excellent spoken and written English.
* Ideally experience in at least one programming language or IT related work role like server management, web development, network infrastructure or programming.
