Xero bookeeper

*UPDATED LOCATION* We are looking for an experienced accountant to perform a range of bookkeeping and accounting duties for our Australian clients. We are seeking to setup an office either Metro Manilla or in Clark Freeport Zone as such we are looking for senior and junior positions. Initially this position will be based from home, and after the probationary period would be based in our new office space.


Key duties are:
Setup / conversion of client files from MYOB to Xero
Bank reconciliation
Accounts payable entry (with the use of Receipt Bank)
BAS preparation
End of month journals and reconciliation

Specific experience that would be desirable:
Xero certified
Working knowledge of Workflow Max
Previous experience with Australian entities

Additional experience that is desirable but not essential:
Preparation of Financials Statements and Australian Income Tax returns
Audit background

We are looking for a diligent individual that can receive instruction and complete jobs to a high standard.
You must be extremely well organized and efficient at managing multiple jobs at one time.
We are expecting that the successful candidate will be able to assist in building our bookkeeping department and offer real value to our clients, as if they were their own.

We are looking for full time long term candidates. We aim to develop a team of 5 in the next year, and as such leadership role will be an essential part of the team.
