JOB OVERVIEW

We're looking for an amazing virtual assistant to help out our small team with our ecommerce website.
Our VA will mostly be working with the boss (that's me!) but will also have to be able to work with the rest of our team based in Melbourne, Australia.
The person we're looking for is going to be the best in the world at internet research (I always have lots of ideas on the go!), and will be able to put the research together in a Word or Excel document.
I’m usually doing lots of different things at once, so I’m looking for someone who likes to do lots of different tasks; who will ask questions when they need to; and who will remind me if I’ve forgotten to do something! We have lots of fun around here, so it’s important that we find someone who has a great sense of humour, who’s enthusiastic and loves meeting challenges.
We'll be working through Skype, email and online project management software.

It's important that you have worked as a virtual assistant before. We'll train you on specific tasks, but we really need someone who is ready to get started immediately.

Specifically, I want someone who can help out with:

Articles/blogs
• Gathering ideas for blog articles
• Initial web research for blogs that I will write
• Writing a draft of blog articles
• Transferring articles from one blog to another
• Updating images within blog posts
• Checking links in blog posts
• Updating keywords in blog posts
• Will need knowledge of Wordpress. All other training will be provided as necessary.
Load new products
• Find images for our website via google images and supplier websites
• Find information for product descriptions for products to be loaded on to our website
• Checking product prices
• Find youtube videos for products
• Loading the new products to our website (we will give full training on the ecommerce software we use)

General VA work
• Copy typing, cut and paste work into excel spreadsheets
• Checking our website brands to make sure up to date
• Checking website brands for SEO work that may need to be done
• Checking images for correct naming procedures
• Checking our product listings to make sure they are up to date
Assistance for accounting work
• Entering new codes, products and prices to spreadsheet for uploading to excel
• Matching up credit card downloads to statement
Note – no technical experience is needed for this. We’ll provide training through video and written instructions as well as Skype.
Newsletter
• Entering images into canva for newsletter (training will be provided for this)
• Assisting with planning for the marketing calendar
• Uploading banners to mailchimp and inserting links (training can be provided for this)
Social media
• Pinning items to pinterest
• Posting to facebook and google +
• Uploading videos to YouTube
