Listicle writer

We are looking for a full-time English listicle/content writer.

The role involves both content writing and content management. The writer will report directly to the Editor-in-Chief who is based in the U.S. The role involves primarily writing listicles related to geeky pop culture, food, health, and entertainment topics.

You must include RELEVANT writing samples with your cover letter, and tell us why you’re a good fit for this role. Any CV submissions that do not include links to writing samples will be rejected.

This is a full-time contract-based position with paid time off and a bonus structure. This is a remote job but the writer will work regular Philippino business hours.

Responsibilities and Duties
* Writing and editing listicles
* Researching and developing ideas for listicles
* Formatting stories on the backend to include appropriate images and links, etc
* Analyzing content performance
* Producing scripts for video/photo slideshows
* Developing and authoring concepts for quizzes

Required Experience, Skills and Qualifications
* Experience writing pop culture or entertainment related stories
* MUST BE Fluent in English writing with the ability to proofread your own work
* MUST BE a motivated self-starter who is able to work remotely
* Basic knowledge of Wordpress
* Ability to work under pressure
* Preferred: Basic knowledge in Adobe Photoshop or equivalent
* Preferred: Passion for technology and geeky lifestyle topics
* Preferred: Experience writing in a fast-paced environment
