The Position:
This is a new role within the company.
We have vendors (properties) and customers (bookers) in many countries around the world but currently only operate from the UK. We are now recruiting our first position in Asia with the aim of providing vendors and customers with out-of-hours support.
Whilst this is a home-working (or serviced office) position, in the future we aim to open an office in Manila/Quezon or the neighbouring areas and the successful candidate will be in a strong position to manage the team and the Asian office.
The Asian office will be responsible for global customer support, out of hours vendor support, and Asian and American sales.
This is therefore an exciting opportunity to play a rewarding, varied, and hands-on role with potential for future promotion.
You will work an average of 40 hours per week. We are looking for an individual who is willing to work at 4-6 hours a day at weekends (Saturdays and Sundays) and some UK Bank Holidays.
You will report to the Head of Sales & Support.

The Candidate:
We will consider trainee candidates with no experience as well as more experienced candidates.
Requirements: this will suit you if you:
are fluent in written and verbal English, with high standards of grammar and spelling;
have basic computer skills including Microsoft Office;
can touch type a minimum 45 words per minute;
have a desk with a PC with high speed broadband access, where you could work free from distraction;
have an analytical mind with attention to detail and are highly organised;
are motivated and willing to go the extra mile to get a job done well, and the discipline to work remotely;
can envisage building a long-term career within the company;
are a positive person who will get on well with our team;
are excited by the chance to join an established and fast-growing ecommerce business.
Nice to have (not essential):
Degree/college level education;
Experience of remote customer support;
Experience of sales.
