Web Developer Needed for Long-Term Email-only Tech Support Role

Website On-Demand is a rapidly growing Shopify app company and makes some of the top apps in the Shopify app store.

We're looking for a reliable web developer to join our team and provide email technical support to our merchants.

Responsibilities:
- Provide timely, accurate email tech support to merchants using our apps
- Clear the support ticket queue twice a day at 4pm EST and 10pm EST, Thursdays to Mondays (including weekends - hours are flexible on the weekends)
- Gather feedback from merchants on features and improvements they'd like to see

Requirements:
- At least 3 years experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript and jQuery
- Good working knowledge of developer tools (JS console, debugger, etc) in the Chrome browser
- Good, stable internet connection and power
- Excellent written and spoken English
- Some experience with Shopify is preferred but not required

A Day in the Life:
- Grab a coffee
- Check and respond to support tickets at 4pm EST (approx 2 hours)
- Check and respond to support tickets at 10pm EST (approx 2 hours)
- Done for the day!

Trial Period / Training:
The first month will be a trial period to ensure you're a fit for the role and also that we're a fit for you.

During the trial period, we'll train you on our apps and walk you through solving the most common types of tickets we receive. There's a big learning curve, so you'll probably be working more than 20 hours per week during the trial period.

Working Hours DURING Training:
You'll have a 2-hour daily training call, Mondays to Fridays, at an agreed upon time (probably around 11am or 12pm EST.)

Working Hours AFTER Trial Period and Training:
Thursdays to Mondays (including weekends)
Approximately 4 hours per day (more on Thursday / Friday and less on weekends)
