Math Nerd with Bookkeeping - Accounting - Financial Analysis Experience

Seeking a full time Bookkeeper/Accountant with e-commerce bookkeeping experience who is a ‘Numbers Guru’ and is uber organized and obsesses over the details

IMPORTANT:
**Must be XERO Accounting software certified and/or expert**
**Must have… Amazon / E-commerce Bookkeeping Experience**

HERE IS THE BASIC DESCRIPTION:
You're responsible for managing all transactions, keeping a document record, approving, declining and forecasting future transactions, managing XERO Accounting software,provide P&Ls weekly, and do a weekly ---------- MON TASK YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:
- Accounting
- Bookkeeping
- Financial Analysis
- Financial Forecasting
- Financial Management
- Sales Tax
- Payroll
- XERO
- Tax Preparation
- VAT Tax filing

**You will be preparing company financials, as well as individual reporting on specific brands and/or product lines.**

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- Amazon Bookkeeping / Ecommerce Experience - (MUST HAVE)**
- Minimum 2-3+ years XERO Bookkeeping
- Building & Analyzing Ecommerce Business Reports
- Amazon Reconciliations
- USA Tax Prep - YE Financial close out
- Sales Tax Registration and Filing
- VAT Tax Filing (not required)*
- Cash-Flow Statements
- Financial Analysis Summary & Forecasting

IDEAL TYPE OF PERSONALITY:
We are looking for someone who is driven by success and can perform and execute their responsibilities on a daily basis with minimal supervision. You should be self-motivated, and an overall positive person.

BONUS / VALUE-ADD:
Knowledge of VAT/Sales Tax registrations and filings in the UK, Canada, and Europe is valued - although it is not required to apply, you must be willing to learn how to do the filings in additional marketplaces listed (UK, CA, and Europe).

Commitment: 25-40hrs per week (fulltime)

SUMMARY:
Applicants must have at least 2-3 years experience with XERO Accounting Software, Amazon reconciliation, and general Tax filing in the USA.

TYPE OF WORK & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Successful candidate will support the VP of Finance
- Support daily operations of the company related to all things finance
- Take ownership of the day-to-day Accounting and Finance department task.
- Key Metric and Financial Reporting / Reconciliations , Budgeting, Analysis, and Forecasting
- Summary of company performance, trends, and bottom line
- Responsible for day-to-day financial planning and weekly analysis

EXPECTATIONS:
- You will study the company’s accounting cycle, processes and procedures to understand how the company operates
- Develop concise reports of Financial data to assist Management with business decisions
- Ability to self-direct and ‘play’ with data sets - ‘Data Manipulation’
- Connect and aggregate data from multiple different sources - layering them to uncover trends
- Strong reporting and presentation skills
- Confidence in their ability to communicate financial information. This includes the ability to write and speak clearly in a variety of settings to deliver a clear message in all deliverables.
- Ability to create and improve processes. Must be a self-starter with exceptional organizational skills, analytical ability, and strategic planning.
- Demonstrates a high degree of professionalism in communication, with customers, peers, and management.
- Ability to produce reports/graphs/charts/tables in Word, Excel and PowerPoint within tight deadlines.
- Ability to formulate finance study designs and prepare and conduct professional presentations.
- Complete understanding of accounting and financial analysis principles, concepts, practices, and standards.
