Customer Experience Associate
North Bergen, NJ or New York, NY


About this role:

We’re seeking an individual with exceptional written and verbal communication skills, customer empathy and a love of problem solving to join the Dopple family in creating the most joyful and helpful shopping experience for parents and kids.

You will play an essential role on the front line, writing to and speaking with our customers (aka #thedopplegang!), working closely with our Operations, Fulfillment, and Merchandising teams to resolve customer inquiries by email, phone and messaging. This is an exciting opportunity to join our close-knit team of experienced start-up leaders (many of whom are parents!), based in San Francisco and North Bergen, New Jersey, with tremendous career potential as our company continues to grow at lightning speed.

Your responsibilities will include:

Manage and respond to all inbound communication by email, phone, text, chat, and social media in a timely, accurate and professional manner and on-brand voice

Collaborate with and make recommendations to our Product, Marketing and Operations teams to continually improve all aspects of the Dopple customer experience

Organize customer support tickets to help the team identify trends and report on Customer Experience KPIs

Update and maintain support collateral with the purpose of educating and delighting customers

Embody Dopple’s core values, voice, and tone in order to provide a world-class experience for our customers

The ideal candidate exceeds these requirements:

BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience

2 years of relevant work experience in a customer-facing role (e-commerce experience a plus!)

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills

Passion for delivering a great customer experience and has demonstrated the ability to empathize and

A team player who loves to work with others and has demonstrated exemplary interpersonal skills

Strong organization skills, with high attention to detail and ability to multitask

An optimistic, resourceful and curious learner who thrives in a fast-paced startup environment
