Executive Assistant - Job Description:

CEO of a fast-growing accounting company needs help on all kinds of things!

Tasks might include overseeing a customer implementation project, creating project templates, updating the website, researching and writing new policies, developing presentations and documents, arranging meetings, implementing Sharepoint, checking in with alliance partners....or any of a huge range of things right down to casually being a note taker in meetings.

We’re looking for someone who likes variety, doesn’t need much supervision and can make a call when needed to do things like... suggest we get an extra contractor to help when he/she needs another set of hands to get things done.

About us: We are a modern accounting company with small-medium sized clients. We work with a lot of startups. We use Asana, Microsoft Office, Slack, Front, Xero, Notion, Zoho, etc. You don’t need to get to know them all—just be confident you can learn them! We are mostly remote (CEO is in Oakland, CA), we are growing fast.

About you: This job is NOT scrum or product role, it is for customer and operations projects. There will be admin, system configuration, catching curveballs.

On some days you might be researching the GDPR, on others taking meeting notes and then having the afternoon off. This does not need to be full time, but sometimes it might be (eg if a big customer is going live there might be a lot on!).

You will have a good sense of humor, be adaptable and organized, great at prioritizing (since lots will NOT get done today!) and ideally have a lot of experience running a range of diverse projects big and small. You WILL need to have a reasonable overlap with US business hours, normally early morning start PST.
