Ruby on Rails Developer

We have a custom application for a lead generation service (www.brokerville.com). We need assistance to maintain and also enhance this service over time.

* Strong knowledge and experience with Ruby and Ruby on Rails
* Excellent knowledge of HTML and CSS
* Knowledgeable in Javascript
* Proficient with the Linux command line and managing a server environment
* Knowledge of relational databases and SQL (we use MySQL)
* Experience working with version control (we use git)
* Experience with ecommerce

Knowledge of PHP is a bonus. Ability to gather requirements, design, and implement a system required.

We need assistance with maintenance and enhancements to existing Ruby on Rails application. We have been in business 11 years and find ways to improve our application. Some weeks we don't have any work but to provide you a guarantee, we would hire you for a fixed 20 hours per week and if we don't have anything on our main application, we have other projects (php programming) and wordpress maintenance and upgrades that we can give you. Helpful if you know Linux server administration.
