We are an e-commerce business with 3 brands. This position is part of an established team in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will provide support of day-to-day functions related to inventory levels in excel and across logistics partners.
You will be responsible for:
- Coordinating with freight forwarder (China to USA) to move international shipments via air or sea
- Coordinating with trucking companies to deliver to and from the CA warehouse
- Scheduling shipments from our CA warehouse to Amazon warehouses
- Provide appropriate shipping documents to logistics partners on an ongoing basis
- Receiving, stocking, and reconciling inventory counts in excel database
- Maintenance of inventory databases
- Look for ways to reduce cost and improve efficiencies
- Make recommendations on when to produce products based on inventory levels
Skills:
- 2-3 years' experience in logistics, operations or supply-chain
- Thoroughness and attention to detail
- Google/Microsoft Excel skills
- A passion for process improvement
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships internally and externally
- E-commerce experience a plus
Part time to start with full time potential.
