Events Marketing Manager for Esports and Gaming (Phillipines)

Key Responsibilities

1. Develop marketing plans to drive awareness, tournament registration, attendance and online viewership for each event
2. Create marketing design brief, copy and requirements for social media images, online advertising and print materials
3. Collaborate with our internal teams (content marketing, league operations and tournaments team) to align messaging, programs, event format, and goals
4. Managing external vendors and partners in events production, set-up and marketing collaborations
5. Assist in providing ideas for social media coverage during events
6. Support the commercial teams in identifying partnerships to amplify company’s events
7. Define key performance indicators to set goals and track the performance of our marketing efforts
8. Develop data driven post event report and analysis. Share best practises and suggest improvements


Requirements

1. Candidate needs to have a passion for Esports
2. Esports event experience preferred
3. At least 3 years of related work experience in events marketing and management
4. Strong understanding of digital and social channels, communications strategy, marketing and branding principles
5. Strong collaborative and relationship-building skills
6. Skilled in analytics, project management and possesses excellent organizational skills
7. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail
8. Experience working across departments, with leadership, and with external agencies to guide event strategy and execution
9. Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills

Bonus Points
1. Existing professional relationships with game publishers/developers or esports organizers/Gaming KOLs
2. Previous employment at a game publisher/developer or esports organizer
3. Experience with public speaking and comfort interacting with C-level executives
