Advantage Drafting is a drafting service provider to commercial glass/glazing contractors in the United States. We specialize shop drawings for curtain wall, storefront & entrances, and interior glass partitions. We cater to the small to medium sized glass contractor that needs shop drawings without engineering calculations. We only provide shop drawings for our clients – mainly for submittal purposes. We do not get involved with any fabrication or installation. Our team is entirely virtual. We hire the best façade draftsmen in the world to work on our team. We use AutoCAD for all of our drawings and Wrike as our project management platform. We pride ourselves in our quality and reliability.

Job Description:
As Project Manager at Advantage Drafting, you will be responsible for collecting information from our clients on how they want the job done and then making sure the job is done on time and of superb quality. This involves retrieving the required paperwork up front (all digitally), discussing certain aspects of the job by phone and email with the clients, coordinating with our draftsmen, ensuring deadlines are met, and reviewing the draftsmen’s work for quality. Additionally, you will be responsible for making sure our clients are satisfied with our work by following up with them and asking for feedback on a continual basis.
Also, this is a remote position. You may work from home or anywhere else where you have a reliable internet connection and reasonably quiet work environment.

Responsibilities:
• Oversee and manage a team of draftsmen
• Ensure quality work is delivered on time
• Review draftsmen’s work
• Provide customer service to our clients
• Talk with our clients on the phone about the projects
Requirements:
• Excellent verbal and written English communication ability (no strong accents)
• Good customer service skills
• Strong leadership ability – be able to demonstrate this
• High level of personal organization
• Willing to work 9am to 5pm Central Time (United States)
• Reliable internet connection with a minimum of 15Mbps up and down
• Have a reasonably quite work environment
• Have a smartphone with mobile data and Skype access

Experience:
• 5 years of experience working in the glass/glazing/façade industry
• 5 years of experience working with architectural drawings
• 2 years of experience working in CAD (preferred, but not required)
