Part-time Video Editing Assistance Needed

1. This position is part-time, and on an as-needed basis.

2. Working Time Zone
We are working in Eastern Standard Timezone (EST).

However, the video editing assistant can work on their own schedule.

3. Skills
The most important skill we require is attention to detail. Please only apply for this position if you consider yourself a “detail-oriented” person.

We also only work with people who are positive, friendly, and who have good written and verbal English communication skills.

Skills that the ideal candidate will possess:

-Basic video editing skills are a must (cutting between different angles of footage, transitions, creating titles, color correction, etc.)

-Basic audio editing skills are required as well (removing background noise, adding effects to make voice sound more full, syncing audio with video, etc.)

-Preference for people skilled in Adobe Premiere


5. Proposed Compensation

$4.25-$4.75/hr starting out (depending on experience) - As your experience with us grows over time, we will look at increasing your pay.

You will be paid on a per-project basis, at the completion of each project. For any projects that take longer than 1 week to complete (very rarely), we will pay you for work delivered at the end of each week.

7. Work Description

Tasks might include:

-Basic video editing (cuts, transitions, etc.)

-Color correction

-Syncing audio with video

-Correcting audio (compression, limiting, background noise removal, etc.)

-Creating titles for videos

-Posting videos to YouTube or other platforms

-Etc.
