GRAPHIC DESIGNER

That’s Living (TL) designs, manufactures, sells and distributes luxury furnishings, lighting, home and table?top accessories. TL is also a distributor, dealer, curator and re-seller of many renowned European and American brands in their respective segment. TL’s hallmark is the timeless elegance, and the compelling quality of the collections. Incorporated in Doha, Qatar and Moscow, Russia, the company had been operating in the Qatar market since 2010, and is a spin?off of Maya Paris Designs.

We are looking for an experienced GRAPHIC DESIGNER with a strong background in press and print media to design magazines, create catalogues, print ads and other marketing materials from scratch. Willing to work in Doha, Qatar.

RESPONSIBILITIES
• Provide designs, graphic art, page layouts, and visual materials and media, with multiple alternatives.
• Project manage all design assignments, ensuring all work is completed on a tight deadline and to a high standard.
• Must be able to handle multiple projects simultaneously and deadlines working within a collaborative environment.
• Liaise confidently with third-party providers and agencies through email and phone.
• Review final layouts and suggest improvements from the design angle.
• Determine production of materials including gathering printing bids, packaging artwork and assembling final layouts for printers; prepare notes and instructions for printers and other vendors.
• Assist with website marketing, email campaigns and updating social media accounts.

REQUIREMENTS
• Degree in Design is mandatory.
• Proficiency in written English is a must.
• Expert knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite.
• Strong team management and mentoring skills.
• A broad portfolio which demonstrates expertise across a range of platforms.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Excellent project management skills.
• A passion for creating stunning visuals.
• A good understanding of the entire pre-press and printing process.
• Ability to prioritize, multitask, and works efficiently across competing deadline projects.
• Ability to communicate and collaborate in a team setting as well as individually.
