Creative Content Writer Needed (Full-time, Cebu Office-Based)

Profound Commerce, Inc. is a fast-growing e-commerce company headquartered in Austin, Texas. We’re in the business of building and growing awesome e-commerce brands.

As a small team doing very big things, we are in search of a creative content writer to join our Cebu-based marketing team.

We’re looking for someone who has an insatiable love for words and storytelling, and has the ability to tap this passion to develop high quality, strategic and compelling content.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
More specifically, you will be responsible for:

• Bringing ideas to life in copy for a wide range of creative channels
• Writing engaging, informative, and digestible articles that audiences can’t stop reading
• Crafting irresistible email campaigns and landing pages that compel the audience to take a valuable action
• Optimizing content for search engines and lead generation
• Collaborating with the marketing team to assist with content creation, promotion, and marketing strategies

REQUIREMENTS:
We get excited about candidates who possess the following:

• Experience - You must have a solid experience in content writing and copywriting, or any similar position
• Education - Bachelor’s degree in English, Marketing, Communications, or a similar field, is ideal, but not required.
• Skills - We’re not looking for an average content writer. We need a WORDSMITH--someone who does not only have an exceptional command of the English language, but also understands how to frame a message in a clear, concise, and compelling way.
• Characteristics - This position requires someone who isn’t just creative, but is also analytical and self-motivated. You must have a strong willingness to learn and have a hunger for growth. Apart from these, you’ll also need to have an active sense of humor and be able to gracefully receive feedback about your work. Definitely, no jerks allowed.
