Product Sourcing and Development Virtual Position for Ecommerce Company - Full Time, Long Term, and Well Paying

We are a USA based business selling our own custom branded products on Amazon USA. We are in the top 1% of all Amazon sellers and are looking for someone to join our Product Development team who can help us with adding new products to our brand. Our suppliers are in China and you will be in direct contact with them. The time commitment will be a minimum of 40 hours/wk and you must not be working for any other companies. Your responsibilities will include:
- Product Research and Evaluation
- Find and communicate with new Chinese suppliers on Alibaba
- Being creative and brainstorming new ideas on how to make products better
- Working with photographers and copywriters to create product listings on Amazon
- Other tasks that come up – we want you to be excited to learn new things and tackle new problems as they arise!

In terms of the skills you need for this job, the single most important thing is that you are a “product person”. You need to be able to look at products, understand what people like/dont like, suggest improvements, and be able to come up with ways on how showcase a product to make people want to buy it. Here are some details:

Desired Skills/Experience:
- Product Sourcing experience is a plus
- Experience with anything creative is a plus - design, photography, copywriting, art, etc.
- Past Amazon experience is a plus but not required
- Experience working with a small company where you have to do multiple tasks is a plus

Soft Skills Required:
- Very detail oriented
- You are persistent in finding the best solution to problems
- You like learning and figuring out new things
- You can work independently and can be a leader when it comes to your tasks and projects
- You are able to handle many tasks at once - we are a small company and you will likely be assigned tasks outside of your core job role, flexibility is important.
- You ask questions if I don't give you details you need to complete the tasks or you are not sure how I want something done
- You have good written English
