2D Character Animation

Hey everyone,
We’re looking for a talented 2D Animator to work with us long term creating fun, short-form animations for our social media!

To give you some background: our brand is Squiddy Clothing. We’re a comfort clothing brand specialising in weighted hoodies with built-in squishies in the cuffs, designed to promote positive mental wellbeing. Our goal is to combine comfort, fashion, and fun, with a long-term vision of revolutionalising comfort wear.

We’re currently looking to bring on a long-term 2D animator to help us create engaging, relatable short-form content featuring our iconic Squiddy in the form of a Squid character. The primary objective of the animation & content is to go viral, while also delivering fun, positive messaging, similar in style to Pudgy Penguins & The Happiness Project.

Key responsibilities:
-Create short-form 2D animations (primarily for social platforms)
-Animate our Squiddy character with personality and emotion
-Deliver engaging, high-quality animations on a consistent basis

We're looking for someone very long term, rates are very negotiable depending on experience. If you’re interested, please apply with your portfolio and any relevant examples of short-form or character animation work. Please also provide your expected pay for creating short form animations on a weekly basis (7 videos a week, 5-20 seconds per video).
