GRAPHIC DESIGNER WITH MAGAZINE LAYOUT EXPERIENCE REQUIRED FOR IPAD DIGITAL MAGAZINES – FULLTIME POSITION

We are a group of mobile magazine publishers on iPad that require a fulltime graphic designer FOR THE FOLLOWING TASKS:

• Layout of 3 magazines each month (approximately 30 pages each)
• Templates designed for each magazine in the first month that will then be used each month after that
• Proof reading of designed articles
• Fixing up any edits we may have before final production
• Advertising Banners designed for the magazines as needed
• Other design jobs as required such as headers and logos


TO APPLY PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS –
• Attention to detail and ability to see edits that need to be done
• Creative ability to come up with magazine page layouts (with our guidance)
• Ability to create advertising banners
• Strong ability to read and understand written English instructions and follow them – important for the editing process.


The position is paying US$350 a month at 40 hours a week.

PLEASE NOTE – you will be required to do 3 tasks so we can test out your skills in magazine layout and design before being considered for hiring. ONLY the chosen applicant will be paid for the test tasks. The task includes laying out 2 magazine articles and creating one FB header graphic.
