Financial Analyst - Bilingual in Chinese

Optwise Consulting is a U.S. based Chinese consulting firm for all the international students and business deal flows in U.S.

Job Responsibilities:

• Ensure accurate and timely monthly financial results and forecasts are provided

• Partner with Business to gain insights into expense drivers and business performance.

• Provide financial results, forecasts and analyses to News Corp for quarterly and annual reports or as required.

• Work closely and collaborate with your other FP&A colleagues to share best practice as well as provide cover across the team.

• Produce and maintain comprehensive schedules to support the various groups. These should contain content and methodology as well as source of information and information dependencies.

Qualifications:

• Carry a degree from a top university and bring 2-3 years of relevant work experience in Financial Planning and Analysis. This means having worked in fast-growth tech-companies, blue-chip corporates or management consulting, covering forecasting to reporting, financial modeling.

• High degree of proficiency in Excel including experience with various financial applications and reporting tools required.

• Have experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (i.e. Host Analytics, NetSuite, Adaptive, Essbase and/or TM1 Cognos) Knowledge of SQL is a plus

• Have strong interpersonal skills in addition to comfort presenting to C-level executives

• As a self-starter with the ability to manage priorities, your intrinsic motivation to level up is matched by your ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders and projects.

• As a team player, you create a shared sense of direction and community among stakeholders and demonstrate excellent communication skills. You exhibit executive presence and the ability to interact with senior management in an agile environment.
