We are a values based, women owned start up e-commerce company looking to form an outstanding full-time team of the BEST e-commerce experts right from the start. With extensive background in international product development, distribution, branding and marketing we will now enter the market to scale and thrive quickly in various product categories in the e-commerce space. As we move forward building this business and the team, we are seeking a trusted, capable, high-energy, and loyal executive assistant who is passionate about e-commerce, digital marketing, omni-channel retail, to work with us to help us start up fast and efficiently.
You will be working remotely part-time to start and move into a full-time position as soon as 1-2 months later. You must have strong reliable internet and a relatively new laptop or home computer (Mac/PC based).
You must have excellent communication skills in English speaking and writing.
3-5 years of experience in supporting e-commerce is preferred.
Must have critical thinking and problem-solving skills and be a leader who listens well and is passionate about bringing great solutions to enhance growth.

You must be able to help us plan, book and attend quarterly in-person meetings where the company will choose a location for everyone on our team to meet in person for a few days of fun, planning and team building.

Basic accounting skills to manage and report of budgets and expenses.
You will meet with the US based (EST) owners 1x daily via zoom video conference call to touch base about progress of tasks. We will work out a mutually convenient daily time to do this. Must be able to schedule and attend a 1x week all team meeting with the whole business team where everyone from each department will give status and share about their weekly experience so everyone is informed about the whole business. You will be required to keep notes and provide meeting report each week.
Your weekly work plan must be submitted by you and approved by owners by Sunday before start of each week. This will outline the tasks for the week so we can be in agreement what you will be allocating time towards and completing.
For the 1st month, you will help to hire, onboard and manage team of experts – help with writing and posting job listings, arrange interviews, vet candidates per our requirements, deadline management for those hired and tasked, provide reports, analytics and stay in constant communication with all people on team. You will also be responsible to ensure they are trained on the software’s/ tools we use that apply to them.
You will conduct research for new product ideas and adapt to different research tools/software’s we have to use.
Overall, you will be a resource and extension of the two owners, keeping them informed and organized and supporting them with assigned tasks.
