Job Summary
E-commerce Marketing Associate
Minimum of 10 hours per week up to 20 hours per week with the possibility of extending to full-time after 2 months.

Job Overview
The role will be providing remote support to CEO of Whitmoore in the advertising of the company’s ---------- this role, you will be co-developing marketing plans for various products in the US and EU Amazon markets and taking ownership for their revenue growth. You will expand the current marketing channels and develop and test new marketing channels.

Required attributes:
1. Project management - Keep track of all tasks and prioritize as needed. Handling of multiple ongoing work streams.
2. Communication - interface with CEO and other team members. Consistently tracking progress of work streams and updating CEO.
3. Initiative - take what you’ve been assigned and suggest follow-ups and improvements that will help the company grow.

Please give your proposed marketing plan for the following two products. The goal of our marketing will be to increase organic rank and sales on Amazon within one month.

Product 1: Electric Fly Swatter on Amazon US - this is an established product. We have 6 SKUs of this product and the oldest 2 have been on the market for 1.5 years, have 100 reviews and 4 star rating. Sales are lower than we expected. The top seller in this market is making 2000 monthly sales while our best seller is making 200 sales. We attribute the low sales to low organic ranking (positions 8 through 15) for the main keywords. Our aim is to reach the top 3 positions for at least 50% of our main keywords and top 5 positions for the rest of the keywords within one month. Amazon PPC is running and semi-optimized. Due to high margins we are able to do giveaways that breakeven with 70% discount.

Product 2: Sous Vide Immersion Circulator on Amazon US - this is a new product that we have recently launched. Our ranking is very low at present and we’re making no organic sales. Amazon PPC is running with limited impressions but we have a 2.5% conversion rate which has made it hard to push bids up substantially. We sell around 30 products per month while the 3 through 8 rank sellers sell on average 200 products per month. This is a product that may do very well through Facebook and / or Social Media marketing. Due to the high cost, giveaways are more difficult. We can discount the price by 45% to break even. We want to reach positions 3 through 8 for all of our major keywords within one month and increase sales to 300 units per month. At present we have 4 - 5-tar reviews.
