JOB OVERVIEW

A global energy company is seeking to expand our team with the addition of an enthusiastic and motivated business development representative(s). In this position you will be the first person to talk to many of our future clients. You will drive new business to the front of the sales funnel. You will educate potential clients as to how they can benefit from our products and services.

About You:

You have 1 year or more years of business-to-business (B2B) business development or sales related experience.
You are a good communicator, both verbally and written English.
You are also a good listener
You have knowledge of the web and social media
You love diving in to learn new processes
You value well organized tactics and work towards making things easier each successive time
You are a team player that values solutions found organically, not autocratically
You are interested in joining a small team and developing your skills in an organization where you will most definitely make an impact

Responsibilities:
Identify new prospect companies and associated senior executive contacts
Contact potential clients via telephone and email
Nurture potential clients via email marketing processes
Analysis of marketing and sales data
Identify areas where our sales, marketing and business development strategies can be improved and present said ideas to senior management
