Journal/Planner Designer/illustrator

Growing journal/planner brand looking to add a talented cover illustrator to our team! Please read the entire job description, answer the questions at the end and send your portfolio.

After reviewing your portfolio and answers to the below questions we may contact you with a PAID illustration assignment and from there we will decide if we will work together.

Pay will be per cover and dependent on skill, difficulty and experience.

Requirements:
? Experience drawing custom illustrations in color.
? Able to take direction and make changes to the
illustrations.
? Understanding of book cover layouts, including spine, and
title placement. (We can provide templates for sizing)
? Flexible schedule and able to reply quickly to illustration
requests (as in “Hi I got your request let me review and see
if I have questions and I will let you know very soon when I
can get this back to you.”).
? Able to turn around illustrations within 10 days (or an
agreed upon timeline).
? Knowledge/understanding of intellectual property rights. All
illustrations MUST BE original (this will be monitored
closely) Prefer someone who has more than one
illustration style
