Medical Image Annotators (Pathologist and Cytotechnician)

Appen is looking to hire Medical Image Annotators (Cytotechnician and Pathologist) to annotate cropped urinary cytology slides for detection of bladder cancer. The work can be done at home or remotely.

Requirements:
• Graduate of medical degree or equivalent work experience
• Previous experience as a virtual annotator/ transcriber in the medical field is an advantage but not required (i.e. medical translation, health care insurance, health care professionals, cancer care advocacy or equivalent)
• Excellent oral and written communication skills

Key Information:
• Employment type: Project-based (open-ended)
• Work location: Remote or work from home
• Work schedule: Few hours only until task is completed (more information will be given upon application)
• Payment: Paid by hour
• Tools needed: Access to a secure high-speed internet connection and quiet non-public workspace
