Experienced WordPress Designer/Developer Needed - Full Time

Experienced Front End Web Designer/Developer with solid WordPress experience is needed to help our internet marketing team build out high quality WordPress sites using our standard Theme or a custom design theme (PSD to WordPress). Must have good design skills, good with HTML and CSS, and be able integrate and layout pages in a compelling and effective manner.

SEO experience or SEO knowledge is a huge plus. We specialize in working with home improvement, real estate, and home construction based businesses.

Salary: 30,000 - 55,000 PHP Full Time dependent upon experience

Full time position at 40 hours per week with 2 weeks paid vacation. We are looking for highly experienced and capable designers/developers with proven experience. There will be no time to learn on the job as you will be expected to handle at least 5 new design projects at a time.

Conceptualize, design, and develop the User Interface/User Experience as well as the overall look and feel of web pages using our base WordPress theme. On occasion, you may have to design a complete custom site from scratch but that is very rare. Experience with designing and building websites for local businesses (BtoC) is a huge plus.

Web Designer Responsibilities:
• Keep up to date with advances in computer technology and how this affects the business and client websites
• Build a complete website from start to finish working in conjunction with our in-house back end developer
• Integrate content, images, graphics, video, scripts, and more to build a great site for a client
• Build out and integrate standard and custom WP widgets and plugins where needed
• Understand how to design WordPress websites (or modify a site) for mobile responsiveness and ease of use across all search engines and most devices
• Manage and implement 301 redirects to ensure existing client site and content is not lost
• Understand how to create an engaging and effective website for a local service business
• Create graphics, logos, and other image files
• Edit and improve client images for web useage
• Monitor design mobile responsiveness across all search engines
• Be adaptable and able to pick up new techniques
• Be able to work on their own or in a team
• Able to work through tight deadlines and put in extra time where needed
• Be aware of international web standards and protocols
• Help manage and maintain client websites, plugins, and web forms to ensure they are working at optimal speed and performance at all times.

Knowledge/Skills Needed:
• Bachelors Degree in Computer Technology, Design, or Similar
• 3-4+ Years HTML, CSS, and Graphics experience required
• 3-4+ Years WordPress experience required
• Have good interpersonal and communication skills
• Google Analytics basic knowledge and integration
• Have skills in software programming and graphics
• Have creativity and imagination
• Fast learner (only need to be told once and you got it!)
• Be adaptable and able to pick up new techniques
• Strong English language skills both writing and speaking as you will be working with a US based team
• Ability to handle multiple projects and work quickly without sacrificing quality
• Be able to multi-task
• Java script experience a plus!
• SEO knowledge a huge plus!
