Please be reminded that this is a COMMISSION-BASED position so there is no definite monthly salary.
Role
This position will be responsible for the front-end sales of Funnel Magazine advertisements. This position will be responsible for the initial close. Building long-term relationships with our clients and keeping track of deliverables.
Responsibilities
• We walk our talk. We expect our team members to not only understand what we do but live it.
• Hold preliminary sales calls with potential clients. These are warm leads who have chosen to schedule a call with us to learn more about what we do and how we can help them
• Hold closing calls with potential clients. These are leads that have already held a short call with us and have determined that they want to learn more.
• Work within our sales project management system to ensure high visibility around sales data and metrics.
• Work with a fast growing business with plenty of room for advancement
Results
• Get Hawk Mikado, our CEO, off of sales calls
• We'd like to add 40 advertisers this year in the three packages we have. (See packages at
• We'd like to add $1M in gross revenue over the advertising department of the next year
Requirements
• 2.5 + years of sales experience
• Ability to work within integrity and bring in the right people into our advertising programs. Our programs are not for everyone and the ability to discern between the right and wrong fit is key Proven track record in the sales industry with the ability to meet key performance measures. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• High level of confidence in yourself and what you're selling
• A proactive self-starter with a flexible work approach and a motivated, energetic, "can-do" attitude
• Professional presentation/work approach and a helpful, supportive spirit.
• A problem solver with the ability to prioritize and work autonomously, and the initiative to drive solutions
• Vibrant personality; ability to build strong client relationships
• Possess the ability to listen to clients' needs, provide solutions and execute strategies.
• Ability to work independently and must be able to work under pressure at times to handle a high workflow of leads
