Website/Graphic Designer

We are looking for a creative web designer to join our team.
You must be enthusiastic, dedicated team-player who is willing to learn new skills.

Accustomed to building professional websites, you will put your skills to good practice, as you help to design and develop websites on behalf of the company.

We are looking for a Wordpress Guru who can take the process from install through to Go Live including design of the site. Also experience with Joomla would be desirable

If you have experience with the Catalyst/Genesis theme this would stand you in good stead.

A willingness to do other duties like Social Media posting will put you to the top of the list.

We will interview this week with immediate start

Responsibilities

Design and build of new sites - from technical build and functional design.
Update existing client sites
Technical maintenance of existing sites
Testing & Quality Assurance
Support - Assist with resolution of technical problems
Individual Development - Be willing to learn new skills.

Skills

Excellent understanding of web content management systems, especially Wordpress.
Know how to install Wordpress plugins
Good Knowledge of HTML
Good Knowledge of CSS
Use of Adobe products like Photoshop - You do not have to be an expert but at least willing to learn.
Be able to use cPanel
Know how to install a MySQL database
Use of phpAdmin to look at the database
If you know any PHP coding this will be very useful - or if you are willing to learn.
A willingness to work at least some evening every week (we are based in the United Kingdom and there is a big time difference)
