Part-time Video Editor

We are in need of a part-time Video Editor to join our young, extremely fast-paced team.

We are a company based in the United States in the training and implementation space. We create leads and generate new income streams for our clients. Our CEO and Founder is a well-known motivational speaker. You must be aspirational, want to achieve personal bests in your work and life, and you must want to grow in this role.

The successful applicant will able to assemble recorded footage into a finished project that matches the desired vision and is suitable for posting on different social media platforms.

Ultimately, as a film and video editor, you should be able to bring sight and sound together.
The successful applicant's role will include:
Manipulate and edit film pieces in a way that is invisible to the audience
Trim footage segments
Include Input music, dialogues, graphics and effects
Ensure logical sequencing and smooth running
Consult with stakeholders from production to post-production process
Personally, you must:
Have an extremely high level of attention to detail,
Proven work experience as a video editor
Solid experience with digital technology and editing software packages (e.g. Avid Media Composer, Lightworks, Premiere, After Effects and Final Cut)
Demonstrable video editing ability with a strong portfolio
Thorough knowledge of timing, motivation and continuity
Familiarity with special effects, 3D and compositing
Creative mind and storytelling skills
