I need an animator that can do Monty Python style animations.

Sup. I hope you're doing good. This will be a long post so please read it all.

The name's Mina. I have a project that I want to prop up in the next few years and I want you to be part of that.

This job post will be up until May 2, 2019.

Like I said, I’m looking for a top-notch casual animator. I don’t mind if the only experience you have with it is casual animations or college projects. I don’t mind. As long as you think you are good, you are more than welcome to apply!

If things go well, your position from casual animator can turn into a full-time job for you. It still depends on how things go, but for now I want you to animate for me.

This is not a full-time job. More like a beck and call thing, I suppose. Don’t let that discourage you though. Think of this as an extra earning gig but has the potential to be a part-time one, or even a full-time job. Because you’ll be growing with me, you will not have to worry the future tasks (e.g, long story animations and others) you ‘ll get since you can just learn them in the process.

THE PERKS I CAN OFFER YOU FOR NOW
1. THE DEADLINES ARE PRETTY FAR IN BETWEEN
Two to three months at least. Of course there will be revisions sometimes as well and those will given ample time too.
2. THE TOPICS YOU WILL ANIMATE ARE ALL READY FOR YOU
And by that I mean that a script for the animations are ready for you. Of course you can apply some of your creative liberty in the process, and you will be rewarded for that.
3. THE FEE FOR EACH PROJECT IS COMPETITIVE
I want to be able to compensate you well for the work you will do. We will talk more about this once you are chosen.
4. GENEROUS HOLIDAYS AND SICK CALLS
I am Filipino so I am familiar with the holidays back home in the Philippines. If you want to extend a deadline because you got sick or you have an important event you have to attend, you are more than welcome to do so.
5. I’M A HIP BOSS
I’m just kidding. But for real though I am chill. I may stern and direct with what I want, but it doesn’t mean that I am rude or will cause you unresolved work issues. There is enough negativity in the world and I don’t want to be part of it.

Requirements:
1. YOU HAVE TO BE FILIPINO.
Tulfo said that Filipino workers being lazy unlike the Chinese people being hired right now to do infrastructure work in the country. I think he’s full of shit. I think Filipinos just work according to the pay they receive, which is INCOMPARABLY underpaid. Di masukat ang sakripisyo ng manggagawang Pilipino tapos ganyang ang sasabihin ng tarantadong kulubot na yon? Napakalaking gago niya.
Sorry I got derailed there. Basically I want to hire you because I trust your work ethic, your abilities and skill. I have a strong sense of being able to give back to my countrymen so...

2. YOU HAVE TO BE FAMILIAR WITH INTERNET CULTURE, POP CULTURE AND STUFF
I am really serious about this requirement. ALL OF THE THINGS I WANT TO COVER ARE RELATED TO POP CULTURE AND SOCIAL PHENOMENA. Which means my demographic will be those between the ages of 15-40 year olds.
I would prefer it if you are also into fancy topics like history, politics, biology, evolution, music, anthropology. It would be cool, but I won't ask for too much on that :)

3. YOU HAVE TO BE CREATIVE, FAST AND CRITICAL.
I think this is an easy requirement. I know you have this.

4. THE STYLE OF ANIMATION WILL BE CUT-OUT, STOP-MOTION

HOW TO APPLY:

On your resume, I want to see your experience, and skills. Maybe links to your project videos so I can have an idea of your animation style.

- Cover letter
I want you to go all out on it. Answer these questions, 2-4 sentences each: (1) How can you explain your animation style? (2) What inspires you to keep being an animator? (3) Give me 3-5 attitudes that you have that makes you the animator that you are.
