We are a mobile app and website called “Beach Club.” We are similar to yelp as we have info and photos on businesses in beach resort ---------- otos are the fundamental element of our user experience. We have professional photographers working 24/7 capturing high quality imagery of businesses, shops, restaurants, and real estate listings. The photos are automatically loaded to dropbox where they need to be processed, organized, and edited prior to publishing on our servers.

Job Description:

We are in search of an experienced Photo editor and virtual assistant team to process, organize, edit, and load photos to our server to be published.

Job Requirements:

Must have experience editing HDR images preferably for real estate listings.

Must have Adobe photoshop, Adobe Lightroom, and Photomatix or equivalent HDR processor.

Must be able to handle high volume of images (approximately ---------- images) daily.

Must have dropbox

Must have large external hard drive.

Must have fast internet connection.

How it works:

Our photographers shoot businesses, retail stores, restaurants, and real estate listings all day long. Most photos are bracketed photos of 5 exposures each, but sometime it is single exposure. The photographers are instructed to “slate” each photo set by taking a photo of an index card with details of the space being shot. The slate will have the category, address, client, or other pertinent info needed for organizing the photos. All the photos are geotagged and stamped with gps coordinates in the metadata and in bottom right corner of photo. This info can also be used to organize the photos. The main job of the photo editor and virtual assistant is organizing the photos and labeling them properly. Training will be provided. The photos will be received daily via dropbox. The editor and VA must first pre organize the photos and batch process the HDR images. Next the editor will need to edit and color correct the photos and name them properly based on the slates and gps coordinates. The final task will be to upload the finished photos to our server with the correct business information and gps location. The photo editor and VA must be very organized and kind of like a detective. The MOST important thing is figuring out where the photos were taken. Sometimes you must use the GPS coordinates to find out the name of the business or restaurant.
