SKILLS

Expert at drawing accurate fashion flats
Understanding of fashion language
Knowledge of fabrics and fabric types
Basic understanding of garment construction
Excellent Adobe Illustrator skills! You will be using templates, layers, color libraries & dynamic symbols.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Sketching ‘flats’ from photographs, rough drawings and notes.
Sketching additional back, side and internal views (if needed).
Adding detail to sketches, like fastenings, embellishments and colors.
Reading measurement specs
Ensuring drawings are to scale
Creating diagrams to show points of measurement.

THE POSITION

Permanent at 40 hrs/week, Monday-Friday.
Starting with a couple of smaller trial projects so we can both see if we work well together.
