Hello!
We are a small graphic & web design firm, 100% USA based and need some full-time help from an experienced designer. We have many different clients in different industries and most clients come from where we are located (near Chicago, Illinois).
Please note, we are an American company and need you during Chicago hours. This is a late night job for you most likely as we need someone who can work at night in the Philippines and be available during our day. Like everyone else on Onlinejobs.ph, we also expect this to be your only job as this is a full-time position and we need you fresh and sharp to help the team!
We are looking for someone who is experienced working on different clients at the same time and able to switch from client to client as needed. So if you have a lot of freelance experience, this is similar to that except you would be working under our agency and treating our clients as if they are your own. Basically, a designer who understands how to work quickly yet can produce great designs.
We primarily use Adobe Illustrator and save to the cloud in Dropbox, so being an expert in that is essential. We also use Photoshop and on occasion InDesign and other design tools too. Of course, we need someone who is comfortable chatting in Google Hangouts - as that is our primary method of communication with the team.
Please provide an online link to your portfolio so we can see your work. Feel free to send anything more to expand upon this if you wish as well.
Great English is a must as well - often we create brochures and other print materials and these need to be proofed and done correctly.
If you have experience running and designing social media campaigns
The job starts with 2 trials, both paid of course. The first trial is 1 week to see if you are a good designer and the 2nd is 30 days to see if you are a good employee (show up on time, do good work timely, keep track of your hours, etc.)
Overall we are a pretty fun group with 5 Filipinos on the team already, so you definitely won't be alone and there will be friendly faces to help every step of the way. :)
