PHP Developer

We are a seeking a talented PHP/Javascript Web Developer to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This is an off-site position. Requires knowledge of a broad range of technology, including but not limited to: PHP, Javascript, Wordpress theming.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Works with graphic designers and other members of a project team to develop the site concept, interface design, and architecture of the website.

Designs, develops, troubleshoots, debugs, and implements software code for components of the website.

Provides support in developing the site concept, interface design, and architecture of the website using a variety of graphics software applications, techniques, and tools.

Designs and develops user interface features.

Responsible for interface implementation and site functionality.

Responsible for database structure.

Provides support to develop Web Based applications including acquisition and online customer services for the company’s components to be able to deliver online functionality.


Required Skills:

Strong PHP language fundamental knowledge and experience.

Strong English skills

Codeigniter Framework (HMVC) - IMPORTANT

Javascript/AJAX/JQuery - IMPORTANT

OOP Skills - IMPORTANT

HTML5/CSS3

Database - Mysql

Web Design Skills (Responsive coding, LESS)

Social Media API (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, yahoo, google, paypal etc..)

Willingness to learn or experience working with Agile/Lean development methodologies and tools


Nice to Have:


AMAZON API (AWS)

Knowledge in Hostings, domains, cpanel, cronjobs, email, smtp, ftp, GIT, bitbucket, versioning, SVN etc..

Developer community awareness (online resources, frameworks, etc.)

Measurement/Analytics: Health of the website, user experience, eye tracking, etc.
