JOB OVERVIEW

WHO WE ARE:

We are a small-scale Startup e-Commerce Marketplace that's hoping to expand and private label into multiple industries.

We are looking for someone competent, self-driven and a go-getter with multiple skillsets that we can entrust with daily tasks both big and small.

** Our main goal right now is expanding the team and talent Upgrade to see actual infondidates with experience in HR, talent hunting, or online hiring will be prioritized

This is an extremely unique opportunity to grow with our team at a crucial milestone, as we expand and scale. As the first assistant working alongside the Director, you will get to know the management process on a personal level. As we grow, so will your seniority and compensation.

We believe in treating one another like family in a pressure free environment.

Main Responsibilites:
- Scouting and hiring freelancers (video editors, programmers etc.) or employees for a given task (through Upwork, Fiverr or any other means)
- Communicate with director daily to help plan a days tasks
- Manage task planning processes
- Communicate with employees and our supply chain (Gsuite, Gmail, Slack APP, Skype and Google Docs)
- Manage people where necessary
- Communicate with potential clients.
- Help prepare documents and excel files

Qualities/Qualifications:
- Preferrably had prior experience hiring or knows what kind of freelancers/employee qualities to look for
- Good common sense
- Quick learner, and problem solver (good logic)
- Takes responsibility and type A (management, get things done type of person)
- Fluent English (Reading, Writing and Conversation)
- Knowing another language is a bonus
- Attention to detail
- Work with minimum supervision
- Reliable internet and computer/laptop
- We're only looking for people who're interested in a long-term position.
- Bonus - experience using Google Docs (sheets / documents) / Excel / Adobe products or similar.

Working hours:
- M-F, flexible hours based on tasks of the day.
- We are based in EST (working evenings and mornings preferred)

Compensation:
- Negotiable based on your previous experience and skills.

Other Benefits:
- All business related expenses will be paid for
- Bonus pay for extra hrs/or tasks/weekends
