Hi,
Thanks for reading our job advert!
We are looking to hire an experienced IT support engineer to join The Systems For IT (SFIT) Company as an integral part of the client implementation team.
We are a young and growing company that provides business and technical consultancy services to entrepreneurs and small business owners to assist them in setting their IT infrastructure up in a secure, resilient and flexible manner, as well as solving problems within their business.
A BIT ABOUT US AND THE ROLE
SFIT is led by three business partners, one of whom has two nephews who were adopted from orphanages in the Philippines and another who is from China. We are therefore hiring the majority of remote workers from these countries and we are passionate about promoting fair wages and working conditions for all the remote workers we place.
You would be working directly for us, to provide technical support to our staff and clients, as well as client solution design and implementation. You will also play a key role in setting up our IT helpdesk structure. Our clients rely on us to deliver great quality solutions that remove inefficiencies and barriers to growth within their businesses and you will be instrumental in designing and delivering those solutions.

To be successful in this role, you must be able to think for yourself, be proactive in suggesting improvements and new ways of doing things, and enjoy challenging and interesting work.
You must also be confident in communicating your ideas and concerns in spoken and written English, as a key responsibility will be conducting consultation calls with clients to define requirements, keeping them up to date with project progress, providing technical support and providing instructions for client-led tasks.
To excel in this job, you will take an active and engaged role in improving both how we work together as a team and in how the company functions day-to-day.
We will be relying on you to help us use technology more effectively. You, therefore, need to have a genuine love of tech and be willing to research and learn new concepts to ensure the company is kept up-to-date and relevant.
