JOB OVERVIEW

We are currently seeking a dependable, punctual individual who can learn quickly and retains information well. This person should be able to communicate very well in English through an online chat tool. A quick learner is a must.

Our company manufactures and sells media (paper and canvas) that our customers purchase and print on. These customers range from hobbyist photographers and artists all the way up to very big, high-production businesses that do printing for stores, online website (think Groupon photos on canvas), etc...

You will manage an online chat tool on our site where our customers (or potential customers) often ask questions about items they have purchased, or ones they are interested in purchasing.

Gaining some basic knowledge of our industry will be key in being able to effectively manage these customers' inquiries and to answer their questions on your own. Obviously some training and communication is expected for the first few weeks (or so), where we can communicate over Skype or business's internal message tool. Our website also contains answers to just about every question that comes up, so the ability to quickly browse the web is crucial.

The chat tool is not extremely busy (maybe ~20 chats per day) so we will likely supplement free time with various other tasks. We have plenty of work to go around.
