I need a podcast editor (and someone to write podcast transcriptions)

I am looking for a great candidate to join the team as our podcast editor & transcriptionist. I have a weekly podcast and have finally gotten to the point where I am ready to offload the workload of editing the podcast & creating a transcription for the episode to someone else. This position is a part time position. I currently use Audacity to record my solo episodes but when I have guest on board the recording will be in mp3 format.

The right person for the job will need to be able to edit the audio for the podcast removing the unwanted sounds such as "Ums" and "Ahs" and awkward pauses. Join multiple tracks, add Intro and Outro music and voice overs, and advertisements. You will then produce the final edited mp3 files and upload to libsyn.

Expertise in audio editing software is required, such as Audacity. The ideal candidate will be fluent in the english language, and have good knowledge of how to edit audio recordings to produce the best quality audio by applying filters, transitions, and adjusting levels of multiple audio tracks.

The ideal person for the job will also be able to provide show notes in the forms of well typed out transcriptions for each show & have them completed once the editing process is over.
