JOB DESCRIPTION

1. Responsibilities

As a Frontend Web Developer, you must be passionate and motivated to combine the art of design with the art of programming. Your responsibilities will include translating UI/UX design wireframes/mockups into actual code to ultimately produce visual elements of the given application.

You will work with our UI/UX Designer and bridge the gap between graphic design and technical implementation, taking an active role on both sides and defining how the application looks, as well as how it works.

Additional responsibilities of this position include:

- Ensuring the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs
- Optimizing applications for maximum speed and scalability
- Ensuring that all user input is validated before submitting to back-end developers
- Collaborating with other team members and stakeholders
- Ability to manage multiple projects
- Ability to learn and integrate new software programs and tools

2. Skill Sets

We are seeking top talent, so you must have the following skillsets:

- Extensive experience in Wordpress Development (Multisite, Custom, API Integrations)
- Proficient understanding of web markup, including HTML5, CSS3
- Basic understanding of server-side CSS pre-processing platforms, such as LESS and SASS
- Proficient understanding of client-side scripting and JavaScript frameworks, including jQuery
- Must know how to use Photoshop for design asset extraction
- Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them.
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as GitHub
- Good understanding of SEO principles and ensuring that the application will adhere to them.
- Expert in MaterializeCSS and Bootstrap
