My background:
I have a day-job as a senior manager in a company that i co-founded 12 years ago, which now employs 250 people. My day-job facilitates my ability to start ‘side-businesses’.
My new venture:
I am also a serial entrepreneur and I have recently started a new business which launched on Amazon (FBA) and I am looking to aggressively build a number of e-commerce brands over the next 3 years. My business plan includes launching ~1 product per month for 36 months and to distribute these products in various marketplaces via Amazon and Shopify (USA, Mexico, UK, EU). I have a proven entrepreneurial track record of success, I surround myself with smart and talented people, I am an extremely hard worker, and I have the time, energy, and resources to build another successful venture.
I launched product #1 on February 16, 2019 with 700 units on Amazon FBA and I have just ordered my 2nd round of inventory. I am also in the process of ordering products #2 and #3 – which will both go-live in April. My first milestone will be to generate $100,000 in sales in December 2019, and then $1.2M in sales in 2020.
What I am seeking:
Historically when I have built previous businesses, I have started by conducing all of the work and tasks myself. I slowly scale, building a physical office, and hiring people that I work with face-to-face. This venture is different in that I am seeking employee #1 to work remotely and to help with areas outside of my expertise so that we can begin to scale immediately.
- First and foremost, I need a smart and hardworking team member that has EXPERIENCE building successful e-commerce businesses.
- Upcoming projects:
o Create and launch a Shopify store
o Create and launch campaigns using Clickfunnels
o Create and launch a Manycat bot
o Build brand on
o Conduct product research to identify new products within the same niche as product #1 (brand #1) (USA). Build out the product offerings under brand #1.
o Using a large
o Launch brand #3 in Mexico.
o Lastly – to help educate me and to keep you fresh – I would like my team member to continuously learn about Amazon FBA by listening to my recommended podcasts each week. Summarizing notes and implementing strategies.
