As one of the largest Hotel investors in the UK, Park Plaza Hotels are rapidly expanding. We have an exciting opportunity for an individual to be part of this dynamic Hotel.

Description:
Main tasks and responsibilities of the employee operations:

Taking care of all activities within the Front Office department and be responsible for the service of your guests;
Keep focused on ‘connecting’ with your guests to deliver quality service;
Differentiate between different guest types and handle them in the appropriate manner; guests with confirmed or claimed reservations, walk-ins, VIP guests and groups;
Follow up arrivals using the prescribed procedure, modification of registration cards, special requests, rate changes, room changes and account inquiries;
Handle promptly and courteously all guest comments, questions, complaints, requests and inquiries, taking the necessary actionsteps and ensuring thorough follow through or report them directly to the hotel manager/ operations supervisor ;

We are looking for a pro-active, guest friendly and very flexible team player who easily connects with other persons and is able to take responsibility for his or her job and wants to be part of a small team. Essential requirements to execute this position are:

Excellent (inter)personal, communication and presentation skills are required
Is able to build and maintain relationships with internal and external guests
Who is passionate about exceeding guest expectations
Eager to learn
Positive and energetic person
Customer facing experience
Be organized and motivated
Be able to work effectively as part of a team
Previous experience in the hospitality environment
Working knowledge of Opera and Micros computer programmes
